Russia definitely is trying to change Ukraine's borders! To make it official the UN will have to recognize new borders. If Ukraine manages not to get totally annexed or taken over by Russia they will likely end up joining NATO like Finland and Sweden just did. It's almost like Putin is working on NATO's behalf!
