Changing our election system discussion.

Is anyone interested in evaluating and expanding the information contained in the final report:
STRENGTHENING DEMOCRACY IN CANADA: PRINCIPLES, PROCESS AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT FOR ELECTORAL REFORM: Report of the Special Committee on Electoral Reform
(http://www.ourcommons.ca/Content/Committee/421/ERRE/Reports/RP8655791/er...)

That document summarizes the results of the consultations on our election system, and, after evaluation and "correction" of a number of the details, parts of it should form a suitable framework to flesh out the info along a few different lines of reasoning, while adding an eye to minimizing the need for politicians generally by better understanding what, exactly, we need them for.

I've only got a week or 2 left here and then won't have stable access to the internet until fall, but wanted to put this out there. Is anyone interested in developing this information in that way?

The goal is to build a better information reservoir, not decide anything at this point, and this is just the start of that process.
