Hardly ever watch CBC anymore but happened to catch Genocide Justin's eulogizing 'Lyin Brian' Mulroney as 'an extraordinary statesman who had the courage to do great things' - then citing Free Trade as one of them.
In fact, Mulroney was a crooked pro-American reactionary who ushered in the Free Trade death-knell of what little remained of independent Canadian foreign policy. Under Mulroney we became thoroughly vassalized to the American hegemon. And the Canadian liberal left gave up on even the illusion of dissent.
