..from riseup a list. i'm not a techie not sure if this can be useful but it might.

Radical Servers

Here is a list of either anti-capitalist, anti-hierarchy, autonomous, feminist, or radical server projects.
Some of them are revolutionary collectives which provide free or mutual aid services to radical and grassroots activists.
Others are more focused on privacy or on decentralisation.
None of them are focused on money.
Riseup is not endorsing these projects, but is keeping a list for people to be able to choose!
Please read carefully the terms of service of the projects, as some may be subject to law-enforcement or surveillance laws.

..we could choose a temporary place. to give us time to find the right place.

..or we can do something else to fill our time as oldgoat suggests. i'm ok with that too.

Epaulo it's obvious you're very passionate about preserving what you've all created here over the last 20 years. If anyone can organize and set this up it's you. Good luck with this endeavour.

If you just want to extend this discussion beyond April 15, I think a Google Group is the best and easiest thing to do. The last time I set one up was about 7 years ago, and it only took a few minutes. Whoever creates it becomes the administrator (no, I don't want that job). You publish a link to the join page here, and anyone who wants to be part of the discussion will join (I will be one). Sadly, I suspect there will be an insufficient number of people interested enough to even join the Google Group, but I hope I am being too pessimistic.

..i'm thinking this as well. there have been enough indicators so far that say this is the case.

..also the more i think about it the more i'm ok with this. over the last few days part of me has already began letting go. and the ageing process guarantees the vacuum left will be filled quickly. :)

..txs mm.

..i will miss babble though. quite a bit. i owe a lot of my later years political growth to it. i also learned to appreciate the political struggles i experienced before babble more. context was provided within a larger struggle.

As I have gotten closer to my own inevitable end, I have become more accepting of the truth that all things, including babble, me, the human race, and the planet Earth are of limited duration. I've read the Tao Te Ching many times over the last half century or so, and this passage comes to mind.

Hey all, if a google group is created I would be interested in joining.   Another possibility is a discord server, which all the young folks are into these days.   If someone more techy than me sets that up, let me know and I will continue to provide all my bon mots.

josh

I'd be interested in joining the google group as well.

I'm too old and tired to do any development on this (plus you don't want the person who runs your forum to drop dead unexpectedly). However, if anybody does set something up, I'd like to join, and can be reached at [email protected].
